ICE CONVENER GUIDELINES:

1. Rep tryout schedules and pre-season schedules must be rolled over each year.
2. There are 3 tryout times for each rep team.
3. Players are guaranteed the first 2 tryouts.
4. There are 2 tryout times for each AE team.
5. Players are guaranteed 2 AE tryouts.
6. Pre-season starts with each Rep/AE team getting 3 ice times.
7. Regular season starts with every team from Tyke and up getting 1 practice a week.
8. Regular season starts with the CHIP's getting 2 practices.
9. Tyke's get 17 games in house.
10. Tyke's get 7 home and 7 away games in Local League. (see GBTLL rules)
11. Novice and up get 10 home and 10 away games, Rep and Local League.
12. Re-scheduled games happen for 2 reasons; 1) cancelled due to weather 2) tournaments. (Coaches are not allowed to dictate when games or practices get scheduled).
13. Games will not be scheduled before 7:00pm during the week unless both centers agree, GB rule.
14. Games will not be scheduled past a 9:30pm start unless both centers agree, GB rule.
15. Rep teams are guaranteed 1 round of OMHA Playdowns. (see OMHA rules).
16. Rep teams are guaranteed 2 rounds of GBMHL Playoffs. (see GBMHL rules).
17. Local League teams are guaranteed 2 rounds of GBTLL Playoffs. (see GBTLL rules).
18. Tyke Local League teams do not have playoffs. (see GBTLL rules)
19. Rep coaches are to contact the GBMHL Rep to cancel practices and games (due to weather or tournaments).
20. Local League coaches are to contact the GBTLL Rep to cancel practices and games (due to weather or tournaments).
21. No coach is allowed to contact the Ice Convener directly.
